Acacia Care Home Visits the Heritage Museum
The Heritage Museum was pleased to offer a group tour to residents of Acacia Care Home located in Shawnigan Lake BC. Seeing the many exhibits and hearing stories of local history brought back many fond memories that everyone enjoyed sharing.
As museum volunteers we enjoy interacting with people who have wonderful personal stories and experiences of times gone by. It enriches our appreciation of the good times and the not so good times that have made our country what it is today.
